I'm a farmer, a business owner, and a mom. I'm running for State Auditor because I'm tired of opening my phone to see another headline about embezzlement at a local government — and I have the experience to actually do something about it.
Iowans deserve an Auditor who treats public dollars like her own. That doesn't come from career politicians or consultants. It comes from someone who's spent years balancing real budgets — on the farm, in the flooring business, and on the Iowa County Board of Supervisors.
Over the next year, I'll be on the road meeting Iowans face to face — at county fairs, coffee shops, livestock auctions, and town halls. Because the people who know where the waste is hiding are the people doing the work every day.
